The program of transportation of goods in the USU-Soft system is an automated application where transport logistics keeps records of its activities and establishes automatic control over cargo transportations, while the goods can be both consolidated and full freight. The cargo transportation itself can be carried out as one type of vehicles, and several, including air and rail transport. Transportation of cargo in the logistics program is carried out by vehicles that are not the property of the company. Therefore, the task of the logistics company is to organize such a program of cargo transportation that could independently control work processes, financial costs, personnel activities, taking into account the use of different types of vehicles at the same time. A transport database is formed in the cargo transportation system, where all transport options for the delivery of goods will be presented and their cost is indicated. At the same time, the transport logistics software must independently determine the most optimal delivery route, taking into account the availability and timetable of transport, and quickly calculate the cost of an order, taking into account the price lists of carriers invested in the cargo transportation system.

The cargo transportation program accepts customer requests, maintaining loyal relationships with carriers, visual control over the execution of orders and promoting services to attract as many customers as possible. You start by accepting applications for the delivery of cargo, when the call rings and the client expresses a desire to send a cargo. If the automated software of the cargo transportation is integrated with the PBX, then information about the subscriber immediately appears on the monitor - who, what is his or her status (category), a newcomer or a regular customer. In the second case information will be provided on the current relationship (whether goods are being transported or the client is only planning to send something, whether the client has a debt to transport logistics, more precisely, to the enterprise, etc.). It is convenient to everyone - the manager immediately joins in the work, even without knowing about this client and the client spends a minimum of time on the order or clarification on its implementation.

This allows you to avoid errors in it and, thereby, guarantees cargo transportation on time, since it depends on the quality of documents prepared by transport logistics. The system offers a convenient format for the order database, where by sorting you can select those orders that are subject to transportation. Selection by date allows you to get an automatically compiled list of addresses for picking up the cargo and subsequent loading. The change in the status of applications occurs in stages - as the work is completed, while the statuses change automatically - based on the information coming into the system from the direct executors - drivers, coordinators, logisticians, which they place in their electronic journals during transportation. The system takes their data, sorts, and processes and changes all related indicators, according to the new state of the workflow. Accordingly, the status and color of applications change. The system allows you to quickly change the accompanying package when transferring cargo from one transport to another if several types of vehicles are involved in the transportation. The cargo transportation system forms a register of carriers, which will indicate all their capabilities, routes - prices and terms, requirements for cargo, as well as its registration for transfer.

When placing an order, the system independently selects a service provider from the register - whose transportation has the most loyal price and short terms; manual selection is possible. The cargo transportation system forms a single database of contractors, where customers and suppliers are presented, divided into categories; for each of them a work plan has been drawn up. Activity planning allows management to control the execution and monitor the readiness of tasks, add new ones, and each employee is responsible for his or her work plan. At the end of the reporting period, the system provides you with and automatically generated report on personnel, which will show the difference between the plan and the fact for each employee. Such a report allows you to evaluate the work of the staff as a whole and each employee separately, to encourage the best and refuse the services of unproductive personnel and to identify other problems. The duties of employees include the timely addition of working readings, on the basis of which the system displays changes in current working operations and forms the results. Based on the completed tasks marked in the electronic work logs, the system calculates piece-rate wages to users in an automatic mode.
