Input field

Our program is professional. Therefore, you can use different types of fields to enter different information. Data entry fields differ both in appearance and in their purpose. The data entry field can be either simple or include additional buttons.

Input fields for all occasions

Text input field

In the text field , enter any text using the keyboard. For example, when specifying "employee name" .

Numeric field
You can only enter a number in the numeric field . Numbers are either integer or fractional. For fractional numbers, a different number of characters is indicated after the separator of the integer part from the fractional. The separator can be a dot or a comma.
When working with "quantity" medical product, you will be able to enter up to three digits after the delimiter. When will you enter "sums of money", then only two characters will be indicated after the dot.

List of values
If there is a button with a down arrow, then you have a drop-down list of values.
1. The list can be fixed , in which case you cannot specify any arbitrary value.
2. The list can be editable , then you can not only select a value from the list, but also enter a new one from the keyboard.
  This option is useful when you specify "employee's position" . You will be able to select a position from the list of previously entered ones, or enter a new position if one has not yet been indicated.
  The next time, when you enter another employee, the currently entered position will also appear in the list, because the 'USU' intellectual program uses the so-called 'self-learning' lists.

Selection from the directory
If there is a button with an ellipsis, then this is a selection field from the directory . IN "such a field" entering data from the keyboard will not work. You will need to click on the button, after which you will find yourself in the desired directory. There you can either select an existing value or add a new one.

It happens that the choice from the directory is carried out using a drop-down list. This is done when it is more important to quickly select a value than to be able to add a missing item to the content. An example would be a guide "Currencies" , since very rarely you will enter the market of another state and add a new currency. Most often, you will simply choose from a previously compiled list of currencies.

Multiline input field
There are also multi-line input fields where you can enter "big text" .

Boolean field
If no words are needed, then the ' flag ' is used, which can be enabled or disabled. For example, to show that some employee has already "does not work" you, just click.

Date picker
If you need to specify date , you can either select it using a convenient drop-down calendar, or enter it from the keyboard.
Moreover, when entering a value from the keyboard, you can not put separating points. To speed up your work, our program will add everything you need by itself. You can write the year with only two characters, or even not write it at all, and after entering the day and month, press ' Enter ' so that the program automatically substitutes the current year.
There are also fields for entering time . There is also a date with time together.

Coordinate field
It is even possible to open the map and specify the coordinates on the ground , for example, the location "patient" .

Rating
Another interesting field that can be present in the customer module when requested is ' Rating '. You can indicate your attitude towards each client by the number of stars.

Link
If the field is formatted as a ' link ', then it can be followed. A great example is the field "Email" .
If you double-click on an email address, then you will start creating a letter in the mail program.
When it is required to refer to some files , the USU program can implement this in different ways.
- You can save a link to any file if you don't want the database to grow quickly.
- Or download the file itself, so as not to worry about losing it.
Percent
There is sometimes a ' field-percentage '. It is not filled in by the user. It is calculated by the USU program itself according to some algorithm. For example, in the patients module, you can create a field that will show how complete the data was entered by administrators about each specific person.

Color selection
This is how the field for choosing a color looks like, it is also created to order if necessary.
The drop-down list button allows you to select a color from the list. And the ellipsis button displays a whole dialog box with a color palette.
The window can have both a compact view and an expanded one. The extended view is displayed by clicking on the ' Define color ' button inside the dialog box itself.

The field for uploading an image can be found, for example, "Here" .
