The management of equipment and its operability, the regularity of repairs is ensured by the life cycle documents embedded in the system, based on which the repair schedule is formed and the planning of the repairs corresponding to the condition of the equipment, carried out according to the schedule, is carried out in order to observe the sequence of works for each equipment and their priority depending on its significance and the actual state.

The application of the management of equipment repairs when drawing up a schedule considers all factors, including the production plan of departments whose equipment is subject to repair in the planned period. The widely advertised versions of such a program in terms of goals and objectives are no different from the option offered by the USU Software, while the latter has several advantages that become even very important with the constant use of an automated system. Regarding cost accounting, the USU Software works without a monthly fee, which, in turn, is charged in the case of other management programs. To estimate costs, the equipment repair management application calculates work operations during setup. Each action is now regulated by the time it takes, normalized by the amount of work attached, considering industry standards and execution rules, as a result of which the work operation acquires a value expression that is further involved in all calculations where such work will be present.

The equipment repair management application forms several databases where costs are recorded, including material and financial ones. For the former, this is a product range since each repair requires material costs, including spare parts and whole units, which are recorded in this base of goods, and their movement to and from the warehouse is documented by invoices. The database formed from invoices is subject to regular analysis, which, by the way, is not present in other apps. Based on the results of the analysis, it is possible to predict the demand for commodity items for the period and plan their deliveries, considering the turnover, which reduces the cost of purchasing and storing them in the warehouse and, thereby, affect the cost of repair work, making them more competitive in cost.

A similar classification - statuses and colours for them are used in the order base, they are issued to requests to visualize the execution stage, the operator saves time on monitoring them. Saving working time by using colour indicators is a tool to solve the problem of optimizing business processes, including labour productivity.

To support the prompt liquidation of accounts receivable, the program generates its list and marks the amount of debt in colour, the higher the amount, the stronger the colour, no clarifications are needed. Access control to service information, implemented by the system of access codes in the form of personal logins and passwords to them, protects the confidentiality of all data. Access codes form a separate work area for the user, personal forms to keep records of their activities, registering the readiness of tasks, working readings. To check the compliance of user information with the state of current processes, there is an audit function that highlights any changes in the system to speed up the procedure. Integration with the corporate website helps to speed up the updating of price lists, product range, personal accounts, where customers control the readiness of the order. To maintain communications, two communication formats are provided - for internal ones, these are pop-up windows, for external ones, they are electronic communications in the format of Viber, SMS, e-mail, voice calls.
