The program of optics is called the USU Software, designed for companies specializing in correcting vision with glasses and lenses, according to the degree of its deterioration. Such companies are called optics, or optics salons, and conduct customer reception, including the definition of vision and the selection of accessories, in addition to the direct sale of glasses and lenses. The software of the optics salon is installed on work computers or other digital devices used in the optics salon and with the Windows operating system. The installation work is carried out by the developer via remote access using an Internet connection and, as ‘moral’ support, a short training course for future users is provided, while their number should not exceed the number of licenses purchased by the optics salon.

We agree that the optics may not have experienced users among its employees in order to quickly work in the software, but this is not necessary as the program has such a friendly interface and convenient navigation that its development is quick and painless for any user, any - in the sense of someone who has no computer experience at all. Moreover, the operations required by the software are not difficult. This is the input of work data in the course of work performed by workers in the lens salon or optics.

The software does not require anything else from the optics since it does all the rest of the work independently. In parallel, the software of the optics calculates the cost of the order, the profit that should be received after the sale, the cost of the services of the specialist who measured the vision, the commission to the manager from the sale of the frame, and others. All operations and associated calculations are performed in the software in fractions of seconds, which cannot be recorded by the human eye. The software of the optics forms several databases, some of which have already been mentioned and are ‘backbone’ in the activities of optics. Each commodity item has a nomenclature number and individual trade parameters - an article, a barcode, which are needed to identify this product when choosing among those similar in name and properties. In the nomenclature, the software of the salon applies the generally accepted classification of products, dividing it into categories according to the attached catalogue, which speeds up the search of items when drawing up invoices.

Invoices, in turn, are generated by the software automatically. You just need to specify the individual parameter of the commodity item, its quantity, the basis of transmission, how the document will be ready with the number and current date and automatically saved in the invoice database, which is formed to account for the movement of products, and which is the subject of an analysis of consumer demand for goods offered in the optics. The program also introduces the classification of invoices to differentiate their base - visual, so that you can distinguish between incoming and outgoing waybills. They are assigned a status according to the type of transfer of inventory items, the status is supposed to have its own colour, so an optician or warehouse worker can visually differentiate documents received.

The customer base, where all information about customers, including potential and existing ones, is concentrated, has an internal classification by categories, similar to the nomenclature, but in this case, the categories are selected and approved by the salon itself, and a catalogue is also compiled from them, according to which target customer groups are formed. Working with a group of clients allows the optics to increase the scale of interaction with one appeal to the selected audience. As a rule, this happens in the form of a variety of mailings, the organization of which is supported by the software of the optics in any format - both in large quantities and personally, including groups, and has a built-in set of text templates that can satisfy all requests for information or advertising mailing.
